Covers 8- (bone-in) chicken breasts or pieces
3T Kosher salt
2 T Paprika
1 t. Cayenne
2T garlic powder
1T chili powder
1) Take a large gallon sized Ziploc bag, measure all spices into bag. Close and shake to combine. Add your chicken into the bag, seal, and shake to cover all pieces. Place in refrigerator overnight, or at least 2-4 hours prior to grilling or cooking.
2) When ready to cook, remove meat from the bag and grill or bake the chicken. Do not use a high heat setting! (You don't want to burn your chicken, and this method is best cooked at a lower temp. If grilling, set heat at low to medium. For the oven, bake at 300-325F.) If using your favorite bbq sauce, brush on the last few minutes of cooking. Temp. your meat making sure it reaches 165F. Remove from heat, and allow to rest for 5-10min. before eating. Serve with your favorite veggies or sides, and enjoy!
